This shamanic amulet made of natural obsidian comes from Mexico, a region with a deep tradition of working with obsidian in pre-Columbian cultures. The pendant is decorated with an Aztec symbolic motif, inspired by the sun stone and the cosmology of the ancient Mesoamericans.

The motif is based on the Aztec concept of time, cycles and the balance of the world. In its center is a stylized face of the Sun deity, around which are arranged signs representing:

the cyclicality of time and transformation,

the order of the universe and the connection of the forces of nature,

protection and stability in the constant movement of life.

In Aztec culture, time was not understood linearly, but as an endless circle in which everything is renewed. The symbol thus represents a conscious anchoring in the present moment and respect for the natural rhythms of the world.
