Abalone/Paua shell

Handcrafted silver pendants and Abalone shells (also known as Paua). The shells come from New Zealand and each has its own and completely unique pattern, which plays with bright rainbow reflections and shades of several colors. Each piece of jewelry is a grown original.
Abalone, also known as Paua shell, is a natural marine pearl originating from shells of the Haliotis genus. It stands out for its rainbow shine, in which shades of blue, green, pink, purple and silver blend.
Each shell is an original creation of the ocean - no two pieces are the same. The nacreous layer is created by a natural process of calcium deposits and aragonite, which overlap in thin layers and create a typical iridescent effect.
Abalone (Paua) is most often found off the coast of New Zealand, where it is protected and sustainably harvested. Its natural beauty is popular in jewelry, decorative accessories and energy sets with stones.
Each piece is 100% natural, without dyeing and without chemical treatment. Thanks to the iridescent structure of mother-of-pearl, it looks elegant in the interior and brings a subtle marine touch.
