Pentagonite rare blue mineral

Pentagonite is a rare blue mineral that enchants with its extraordinary intensity of color and fine crystal structure. It is chemically identical to cavansite (Ca(VO)Si₄O₁₀·4H₂O), but differs in its crystal system - it forms sharp needle-like crystals with a typical star- or fan-shaped arrangement. This makes it appear much more dynamic and optically "livelier" than the spherical aggregates of cavansite.

The most famous deposits come from the Wagholi area, Pune, India, where pentagonite often occurs in the cavities of basalts together with apophyllite and stilbite. The color ranges from bright sky to deep cobalt blue, which remains stable even under prolonged lighting.

Pentagonite is valued not only for its appearance and rarity, but also for its soft, pure vibration associated with calm, concentration and inner clarity. In the interior, it acts as a dominant solitaire - it attracts attention, brightens the space and brings a sense of purity.
