Description

Green apophyllite is a mineral found in the geological formations of India. This mineral has a crystalline structure and a pale green color that can change to yellow or pink, and is found in the cavities of volcanic rocks.

Green apophyllite deposits are found in various parts of India, including the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. These areas are known for their volcanic rocks and volcanic activity that allows green apophyllite to form in rock cavities.

As for the rarity of green apophyllite in square-shaped crystals, such crystals are not very common, but they can be found. Green apophyllite is often found in diamond- or hexagon-shaped crystals, but square-shaped crystals are also found. These crystals are usually smaller than diamond or hexagon shaped crystals, but are still considered very attractive and sought after by mineral collectors
