Phosphosiderite

Phosphosiderite is a rare mineral named after its composition and the elements it mainly contains - i.e. phosphate and iron. Phosphosiderite most often forms light purple, dull shiny, opaque, microscopic crystals, crusts and kidney-like aggregates. It was discovered in 1890. Phosphosiderite is known in the world as "Piedrea voga" or "La Roca Voca", i.e. the pink stone. The interesting thing is that it can partially change its color shade depending on the lighting, when in daylight it is colored more pink, in artificial light the color goes more lavender. The most famous deposits of this mineral are in Chile, Argentina and Peru, but it was even found here in the Czech Republic (eg Zdechovice, Chvaletice near Přelouče).
