Description

Shattuckite is a rare mineral and gemstone that was first discovered in mines in the Bisbee area of Arizona, USA. This mineral was named after the Shattuck Mine, one of the mining sites. Shattuckite is blue-green to azure in color with a fine to silky appearance. Crystals can be small and form aggregates or hints of columns. Shattuckite is known to often form interesting combinations with other minerals such as malachite, azurite or chrysocolla.

Chrysocolla is a mineral belonging to the silicate group. It is known for its bright green to blue-green color, which is often combined with malachite and azurite, creating interesting and attractive patterns and color combinations. Chrysocolla was already used in ancient civilizations as a popular material for the production of jewelry, statuettes and amulets. Its name is derived from the Greek words "chrysos" (golden) and "kola" (gum). This mineral has a shiny and silky surface and often shows variegated and wavy patterns.

Malachite is a beautiful and well-known mineral with an interesting green color and characteristic banding or pattern. It belongs to the group of carbonates and is derived from the Greek word "malache" meaning "green stone". The color of malachite ranges from light green to dark green. Its characteristic pattern is often striations or fine circular stones. This pattern can create interesting and attractive effects in gemstones or patterns on minerals.

Azurite is a beautiful mineral that is known for its intense blue color. It belongs to the group of carbonates and is often found in the form of crystals or as a deposit mineral in rocks. The blue color of azurite is due to the presence of copper in its chemical composition. Due to its beautiful color, azurite has become a popular mineral for collectors and is often used in jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
